You do wonder how the fuck they're even in the top four. If it wasn't for Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool fucking up, they'd be nowhere near it.

They are in the top four (just) largely because of PGMOL, with a lesser factor being dumb luck.

They’re true position is around 8th place with that luck remaining.

Without either advantage, they’d likely be around 12th.

Team discipline,moral and tactics are all much better.Hag takes no shit and will get a grip of anyone who step out of line,as he has proved with Rashford.The entire club has stabilised beyond expectation1

They have won one trophy,they will probably win another and they will achieve a top 4 finish.Their fickle supporters have returned in numbers,delusion or otherwise.....they see huge reason to be positive.

They are still light years off our level,but they have improved hugely.

I can understand our fans not even entertaining the idea,as its not seen as being a Big Blue.....but it's a reality.

How many points are they better off than same games last season, can't be arsed to look but it won't be anywhere near huge.

Yep, 3 points better than at the same point last season under Ragnick.

Officiating and dumb luck (both in specific matches and with other teams dropping off considerably this season) have them much higher in the table than they should Be.

A simple illustration of this is they would currently be out of the top four if that farcical Fernandes/Rashford goal was not given. That would put them in the exact same state as last year under the “Clueless One”. And that is just one of many instances of officials aiding them in matches throughout the season.

But you won’t get any rag to admit that 7en Hag is no better than Ragnick or even Ole in performance thus far.
