Goldberg is begging the arse fall's out of the rag shares, so the Qataris or Jolly Jim can get them on the cheap. Apparently they need a minimum of £350,000,000 to spend on player's before the end of the season, to get the jump on the other top team's. The lack of investment in player's by the Glazers over the past year's has taken it's toll. REALLY ??!!
To deluded, brainwashed and thick united fans, mismanagement = lack of investment.

Its media ran.

Utd or Liverpool win = worlds best 11 in every position.. Plaudits for whoever scored that week (and/or Rashford).

Utd or Liverpool lose = "transition stage", "Don't have the squad that other top 6/7/8 clubs have" or they create a 250+ mil wish list of players that the club needs to "get back to where they belong".

Ex players still living in the past and not getting with the modern day state of football.

As much as it annoys me sometimes that we don't have many ex players of ours biased as fuck on BT or Sky etc, the ones we have remain fairly impartial. In comparison to ex Liverpool or Utd players you could argue they're neutral!

It'll continue for the foreseeable whilst the same pundits are pushed onto those channels then the same pal journos spout the same shite and the same pr teams/media companies push those narratives and make quotes go viral.

Utd could spend another 400 mil and be slightly better off, cos like you say, it'll be mismanaged and rather than being spent on players they need theyll go for "glamour" signings they dont need.

They spend like we did when we first got bought. (On a much larger scale)

PR:
The club said in a statement last week: “Manchester United were pleased to put Old Trafford forward as a potential host of Uefa Euro 2028 matches and proud of the strong case we made.

“However, during follow-up discussions with the FA, it became clear that we were unable to provide the necessary certainty around the availability of Old Trafford due to potential redevelopment of the stadium.”

Reality:
Its a shit hole that would be an embarrassment for visiting fans
FA spokesman quote : "We didn't want it anyway"
