I cant see that raine group procludes qatar from buying rags but one thing I think could be interesting is that they could have a deep dive into the rags books including all debts or losses hidden offshore. Surely if they are acting as broker they will have chapter and verse On rags finaces? i don’t see the scum having no skeletons in the closet this last 10-15 years with regards player and management renumerations, image rights, pay offs etc.

Surely the only reason any business would relocate their registered business address and accounts to the Cayman Islands is because they want to make their finances and accounting practices less than transparent, whether that's to hide them from the taxman or other regulatory authorities, or both.
