Really? I’m not sure about that. The intimidation of refs was part of there tactics when bacon was the manager. He manipulated the media prior to games and then sent his players out to harass and badger continuously. Klipperty does exactly the same. ‘Fergie time’ was part of it. Roy Keane was a master at it but I think there were players before him.
