Not us. We don’t go below £900,000 a week for strikers apparently.Who could afford 500 grand a week?!

I think KK did worse with replacing the Goat with Fowler , signing Mills and McPointy as well but he also signed Ali, what an exciting team we were back in them days. (Not Fowler, Pointy or Mills by the way). Will never forgive Keegan for that me as I'm sure many others won't neither.
In his time is what I said.Who - twatty?
We are so far past needing cast off's, it's not even worth the agro.
As a fan base we should never compromise........... ;-)
Still tainted goods ;-)In his time is what I said.
He might have been a rag but the only way we could ever stop him was with cynical fouls from Michael Ball etc.
I totally agree we don’t need has beens but lets recognise what he has achieved in the game.

Schmeichel Senior was more than decent for us, far better than his replacement Seaman and many of our 'keepers of that era.He was a fucking amazing player in his time as you all well know. If Pep wanted him then that was good enough for me, if Pep didn’t then he can go get fucked, see it is all down to Pep.
I remember when Keegan signed Peter Schmeichal , I was dead against that. He cheered when we put 3 past the swamp dwellers. He didn’t do too bad in his short time with us.
The Fowler signing also led to Bernstein stepping down as chairman, who'd done a good job stabilising the clubFowler was a bad move over the goat deffo, although I did enjoy his celebration when he scored against the rags,as for the other 2 mentioned, well best not :)
Get your fucking hands off me you pervertI remember last summer when I tried to remind everyone what a huge fucking error signing him would be - yes, I feel Big and clever........ ;-)
Blobby Fowlup was a complete waste of money that could have been much better spent elsewhere, most notably on Daniel van Buyten.Fowler was a bad move over the goat deffo, although I did enjoy his celebration when he scored against the rags,as for the other 2 mentioned, well best not :)
Whilst true, there’s not much chance that DVB would have stayed with us very long. He was too good for us back then.Blobby Fowlup was a complete waste of money that could have been much better spent elsewhere, most notably on Daniel van Buyten.
Keegan's obsession with Fowler was a major factor in David Bernstein leaving his position as our chairman and is up,there with Alan Kernaghan.
I can’t disagree, but we would probably have made a good profit, when he moved on, which is more than we did with Fowler.Whilst true, there’s not much chance that DVB would have stayed with us very long. He was too good for us back then.
I must confess, I loved Fowler as a player and was gutted that he came to us when he was finished because of his hip.I can’t disagree, but we would probably have made a good profit, when he moved on, which is more than we did with Fowler.
Possibly the best finisher ever in the Premier League, He was lethal on front of goal when a chance came his way he was very much nailed on to score.I must confess, I loved Fowler as a player and was gutted that he came to us when he was finished because of his hip.
He was an amazing goal scorer.
Another bit of shite business by us back then.
At least the last 10 years have made our nostalgia whimsical rather than still angry at how shit our decision making was back then!
Was that a "fuck off and you serious" in a good wayWhen my Dad was dying in hospital I said to him, "We're signing Robbie Fowler".
He said, "Robbie Fowler? Fuck off"
We’ll never know mate ; )Was that a "fuck off and you serious" in a good way
Or
"Fuck Off not that fat ****"
:)
Did he ever write sermons for a certain religious leader too? We’ll never know mate ; )
