if they get FDJ it will improve them slightly and I mean ever so slightly, they need a whole new team and reserves to even come close to us. They're at least 4-5 years behind in terms of quality players and transfer windows etc. Im not worried about these in the slightest. And the people that say he will make them title contenders need to change there medication!
I hope they sign him as he clearly doesn't want to go there. If he doesn't hit the ground running it's going to turn sour very quickly, and he'll find himself going the same way as DvB. He'll become the next £40m (£80m) player that plays like a £4m transfer deadline day panic buy.

I agree with you @TonyM, as much as I would like it to be otherwise, I do think Ten Haag will improve them. They still have financial clout and if he steadies the ship they are capable of building on it. As you say though the rest of us are also improving, and long may that continue.
Sadly I agree, top coach and let's be honest after Ralph and Ole it's not difficult to improve on that and even with those two muppets , they only just missed out on top 4.

I honestly can't see anything other tham United continuing to struggle. It seems like the new coach is only buying players from Dutch football. That is a recipe for disaster in my view. The Ajax team reached the CL semi which was an achievement but the league in Holland is sub-standard and it is very rare for any player from there to make that jump to the PL (without developing in another league first). It is always a bad sign when a coach can only sign players from his old club. I think it will all end in tears. Happy days.
