No he wouldn't have been great.
Think he’d have scored shitloads last season in our team. A year on and age has properly caught up with him, even some of the shit in that Europa league were taking the ball off him easily this year. However, glad we didn’t sign him. It’s worked out perfectly him going there and causing them loads of problems

What a circus.

No longer able to make headlines on the pitch, Ronaldo now has to do sit downs with Piers Morgan to get the attention his gargantuan ego needs.

The handshake snubs of Carragher and Neville were petty as fuck. But going on TV and toasting your employer and boss is off the chart. But if you need attention then you need attention, I guess.

Saying he looks better than Rooney, while true, is also completely pathetic. I don't think anyone (even Rooney) cares. If that's the best retort he has for Rooney's entirely valid (and imo, complimentary) comments on the radio the other day, it's time to hang up his boots I reckon.

Reading between the lines, Ronaldo seems to think being treated consistently with his team mates is some kind of slight on him, and that he needs deity-like status in any squad and from any manager he works under. When he was banging them in 10 years ago, it might have been a trade-off that worked. But when he's nearly 40 and playing like Almiron me nan, of course he's not going to be singled out for special treatment.

When he captained United the other night after kissing and making up with Ten Hag, then calling in sick for a couple of games, I assumed that would be his last United appearance. His sit down with Piers is the final nail in the coffin of his United comeback.

Absolutely tragic for Ron, and everyone - even United fans (but maybe not Fergie) - are laughing at the clown now.

God help the team who signs him next!

Well they have another year of him unless they pay him of! They can fine him the max for that interview but not sack him!

What gets me with his attitude and arrogance is which over club in Europe all want him around there club!?

Oh the scum have an option of another year! [emoji38]
How about we put it about we want to sign Ronnie for one last 'hurrah'.
The gpc would shit it and sign him on a new 2 year contract for 950k a week.
As soon as its signed Pep does a press conference where he just sits there giggling.

Come on City, you know you should the shits and giggles would be brilliant.

Morgan and Ronaldo; the ultimate example of a match made in heaven. Who got first use of the mirror?
Oh come on. One, 1, I repeat one ? It was written into the individual contracts that each had to have 5, one on each wall and one on the ceiling for the cum shot.

What gets me is Ronaldo is the highest profile footballer on the planet, surrounded with the very best advisers on every aspect of his life.... and yet before he re-signed for them neither he nor anyone around him were able to see what everyone else could see, that united had become a badly run, massively underachieving joke of a club.

It's like the state of the club has come as a complete surprise to him.

The jacuzzi and the gym are the same as when he left the club, what a fucking muppet he is ;)

He’s probably right in highlighting that, when Ronaldo left the facilities on the City side of Carrington were in dire straights. There were toilet doors hanging off or missing, things evolved a lot on facilities to where City are now . It highlights the lack of foresight and how the football landscape has evolved since the rags were at the top, Spurs, Liverpool and us have invested big in training facilities.

No sympathy for him, he knew what he was going back to was a club in turmoil and should have done his homework that they are in no place to be challenging for the top honours in the game. Wanted his half a million a week though which they were daft enough to give him.

I get you, but imagine focusing on the things HE wants to use rather than the shit infrastructure the paying fan has to use?

When my son told me that City were in for Ronaldo I immediately said that he wasn't for us and i was relieved when he didn't sign. It's all about him, and City and especially Pep, don't sign players like him.
