F**K me, just seen Michael Knighton on Granada reports advocating rebuilding the club around the Portuguese ponce (not Frenades) "let him know he has a role for next 20 years" then admits his consortium of blionaires doesn't have the chance for stadium and player upgrades.
Late reply, been out. It was some of the most non sensical guff ever spouted. Think he wants to make PR37 Prime Minister eventually. Knighton is a space cadet, they’d be worse under his stewardship.
 
It's the same mistake that Palace made a few years ago, employing De Boer with a defined playing style, not furnishing him with remotely adequate recruitment and they end ended up sacking him after about 5 games as he was unwilling to compromise on style.

You can see a very similar turn of events unfolding here very quickly...........
Said it all along that the best manager for utd would be Dyce
