Any selling club will be rubbing their hands together with them lot.
And so they should

I hope they remember how Utd planned to take advantage of Covid. And buy players with low offers. Knowing clubs would be desperate for money.

All clubs would be thinking of it, certainly. Only one would have the arrogance and stupidity to advertise it.

So they have finished 6th last season. 6/7 first team players have left the club, No players brought in yet. Ronaldo wants to leave, Phil the face still at the club...

They are genuinely going to struggle to get Top 10 at this rate.

Speaking about South East Asia, there are some weird goings on here in Thailand with an exhibition match between United and Liverpool planned for next month at a ground that holds 50,000.

First, they couldn't sell it out (and by a long way).

So, second, they have had to put a K-Pop star on the programme for an hour before the match to generate interest which means that there will be thousand of screaming teenage girls there that will leave as soon as the match starts.

Then, the two clubs returned tickets they couldn't sell to foreign fans and guess where they ended up? On a youtube sales channel here, being sold at a discount with promises of the chance to meet players, meet the K-Pop star, watch training and have dinner with the players. Problem is this youtuber only has a couple of places with limited special access and 20,000 (yes 20,000) to sell. So there are threats of court cases for misleading sales, and both clubs have had to issue statements denouncing the cut-price sale and saying they don't approve the discounting and the misleading information.

All very weird.

The tickets were hugely over-priced, btw, so it serves the fuckers right.
I wonder if that has been reported over here.

If the rags can't even try to buy success (witness the reluctance of players to go there) then where will they finish up at the end of next season?
They are in a dog eat dog fight now and I'm not sure they have the fight in them to get any higher up the table than where they finished.
In fact, they could finish lower, much, much lower...

It’s probably been mentioned on here already but I’ve just watched the secret filming of the meeting between the new United CEO and some ‘fans representatives’.

What a proper odd bunch. Secretly film the conversation and then post it on Twitter! Great.
It is my belief that this "secret" meeting was staged managed.
If the Glazers had not been informed and in agreement he would have been clearing his desk out next morning.
Some of the things he said (true or not) were share ;price sensitive

Could well be. Anything is possible at United!

Mooted something similar (possibly at the back end of last year's thread).

It allows the spice heads to believe they now have somebody within the club that 'gets it' that they can trust.

Show and tell........

I wonder if that has been reported over here.
It would only be picked up in the UK if it was reported negatively here. The press here just prints press releases, pretty much, so all we have here is:

In April, Match almost sold out in one day.

Two weeks ago, K-pop star now on programme "to attract non-football fans to buy the remaining tickets".

Yesterday, "the popular social media presenter and online retailer on Thursday announced that she had 20,000 tickets to the match" and "the organiser of the upcoming Manchester United-Liverpool match in Bangkok apologised on Sunday after both Premier League clubs expressed disappointment over the reselling of match tickets."

You would have to piece it together, something UK press isn't renowned for, or look at social media, which is all in Thai of course.
