I agree with you @TonyM, as much as I would like it to be otherwise, I do think Ten Haag will improve them. They still have financial clout and if he steadies the ship they are capable of building on it. As you say though the rest of us are also improving, and long may that continue.I think TenHaag is doing the right thing by bringing in lots of Dutch/Dutch league players. He seems to know that he needs to avoid razzmatazz players (I think DeJong and Eriksson arent fair weather players and will do their best if it's no longer toxic there).
Thankfully though other teams are strengthening too. Hopefully enough to make any improvements slower at united. And then because of their mental case expectations they'll cause anything TenHaag does well to be seriously underpressure....hopefully imploding all over again.

Shite Cremated Nun?'Cremated Nun Shite' is an anagram for.....?
They may make a comeback when HS2 reaches Manchester.Happily a spent force, into history they go, like the Flying Scotsman and the Mallard. Goodbye to the age of steam
Let's be realistic, that's not a difficult task to do given the last two incumbentsI do think Ten Haag will improve them.
Chelsea too.Arse & Spuds having very decent windows makes Ten Pegg job even more difficult lol
I hope they sign him as he clearly doesn't want to go there. If he doesn't hit the ground running it's going to turn sour very quickly, and he'll find himself going the same way as DvB. He'll become the next £40m (£80m) player that plays like a £4m transfer deadline day panic buy.if they get FDJ it will improve them slightly and I mean ever so slightly, they need a whole new team and reserves to even come close to us. They're at least 4-5 years behind in terms of quality players and transfer windows etc. Im not worried about these in the slightest. And the people that say he will make them title contenders need to change there medication!
That's true!Let's be realistic, that's not a difficult task to do given the last two incumbents
Sadly I agree, top coach and let's be honest after Ralph and Ole it's not difficult to improve on that and even with those two muppets , they only just missed out on top 4.I agree with you @TonyM, as much as I would like it to be otherwise, I do think Ten Haag will improve them. I honestly can't see anything other tham United continuing to struggle. It seems like the new coach is only buying players from Dutch football. That is a recipe for disaster in my view. The Ajax team reached the CL semi which was an achievement but the league in Holland is sub-standard and it is very rare for any player from there to make that jump to the PL (without developing in another league first). It is always a bad sign when a coach can only sign players from his old club. I think it will all end in tears. Happy days.Sadly I agree, top coach and let's be honest after Ralph and Ole it's not difficult to improve on that and even with those two muppets , they only just missed out on top 4.
Didn't think their binbag kit was that bad.... ;-)))))Shite Cremated Nun?
No money but he's still polishing that turd.
