It even gives you a clue in one of stands as in the Stretford end.

Although it does still have its run down area`s Salford has, like Chorlton and Didsbury done vast regeneration while still being one of the greenest City`s to live in.

It’s fucking hilarious how wound up you get about this.

I always have and always will refer to the rags as being from Salford.

Well it’s certainly not in Manchester though, due to boundary changes, it now resides in Greater Manchester much like many other ‘not in Manchester’ towns and districts in the area. iirc Old Trafford is in the Catholic dioceses of Salford and that falls within the ecclesiastical province of Liverpool.
