Signing a midget centre back was a masterstroke. As Brighton and Brentford have shown all the opposition has to do is pump it long and their defence is fucked. The better sides will still treat their defence as a roundabout and batter them with football but even relegation fodder stand a chance if all they have to do is hoof long balls up and wait for them to sail over Martinez's head or for Maguire or De Gea to fuck up royally.

If it was a player moving from a 'smaller club', no European football etc... you'd understand it. However, you have to question the mentality of a player who has 'it all' at Madrid and picks United.

So obviously money orientated, when he's 35 years old he'll still be getting £300k+ a week, remember that when United a still in this mess 5 years down the line.

The daft bastards never learn. That's their transfer policy over the last 10 years in a nutshell.

Suddenly, they are going to sign Casimero, the de Jong deal is back on and Antony has gone on strike at Ajax to get a move to them? We are probably talking average 60m fee + agents fees + unpaid wages + add-ons, before wages even get mentioned. How convenient that all this is reported when the scum are due to play the red dippers Monday, and there are threats of mass zebra panted protests, threatening to get the game cancelled.
Once the game has been played, as the zebra panted ones were placated, it will no doubt, be reported that at least 2 of those transfers will not be happening.
I have the day off Tuesday, so will watch with much popcorn and even more alcohol, whilst doing my best not to laugh.

Oh ffs. I'll give you a clue. Which player have the rags been chasing and the player has his mum as an agent.

You are clearly to young to remember the song. Mama Told Me Not To Come
Thanks. Can't remember last time someone said I was too young.

United trying to recreate classic Madrid sides. Here's hoping they bring McMananam out of retirement and give Michael Owen and David Beckham a seat in the think tank. Somewhere Raul is looking for his old boots. Quick someone start a rumour City are interested in Puskas

It’s like watching a shit show of a soap opera - one of those that is so bad you have to watch it just to believe it’s as bad as they say even though you don’t care, a sort of morbid curiosity - they are the equivalent of Eldorado and we all know how that ended

I'd compare these lot more to Albion Market. Cheap bizarre bazaar.

Maguire in a back 3 is different to in a back 4 though. I can see why they might want him. Also without the weight of captaincy. I’d say he’d most likely be a success there if it happened.
