Always had fun all my life but stared in utter disbelief decades ago at my brother in law spending hours and hours playing Prince of Persia.
What a waste of a grown man’s potential and opportunities.

Not a gamer I take it.

In the old days, on the older video game systems , they hadn’t added joysticks to controllers yet.

Your movement in the game was controlled by 4 little directional buttons.➕ Shaped like that. You could only go forward, back, and side to side. Diagonally as well if you were lucky, but always at a right angle, no curvature to your movements. McKola used the analogy to describe McGuire’s movements on the pitch.

Maybe I was just in the proper niche for that one, but I had a right laugh.
Did you just call me a gayer?

Christ I really hope not. He’ll bring in millions in sponsorship etc and is a great attacker on his day. Really don’t want these shits getting big name stars like this. They should keep Wout Weghorst and be satisfied, that should be their level.
Don't forget he's actually 31 now (as surprising as that is to believe given the way he acts) so he represents just yet another past his best, ageing galactico out for one last bumper pay day... as per all the other 'big name' signings that united get.

I’d like them to get him. He’s 31 and it’s all about him.

He would be a perfect fit for the rags.
Absoulte wanker.
And a cheating twat.
Yes he's a good player but he will have a negative effect on the changing room.

Win win I say
He’s 31, so fits the rag acquisition profile perfectly.

His time at rag central will not be long term, and he will cost a fortune in wages for them.

What’s not to like?

I live in the US East Coast-side. In the office meeting room today 3 Rags were discussing how well their first season has gone and how United/Inter need to stop your treble for the good of football.

They turned to me and asked me whether I follow "soccer". I informed them that I have just a passing knowledge. I then asked them about United's season and 95% of their response centered around how cheating City need to be stopped from getting a treble. Nothing about League Cup or CL qualification or ETH's influence. They kept banging on about how the PL will become like the Scottish league if City are allowed to spend "unfairly".

I innocently asked them - "so how much have City spent vs United over the last decade?" Their response was "blah blah lottery, blah blah organic revenues, blah blah ETH was not backed with a striker, etc. I further asked them - "so how much did City spend this season vs United". They changed the topic to City's 115 charges and whether the PL will take your trophies away (like Juve).

I think City's potential treble might have broken them. Hope you guys crush United in the FAC because I'd like to see their reaction.

Also - they were under the impression that Vini Jr. will leave Madrid and join United over Bayern, City, PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool since United is the only one with a combination of both money and heritage!

Most of us were in our late thirties at the time you talk of.
Video games passed me by.
I just saw them then, and still do, as vacuous entertainment for the brain dead.
Bit ironic to speak of vacuous entertainment while posting on an Internet forum. But that’s alright mate, not your cuppa. Guess it was a crack only the brain dead would enjoy.

If his signing means that the rags share prices increase for long enough for the glazers to flog a few shares, then its a done deal.

They can always "create" some more shares to replace em......organically of course.
