How far are we off buying them for a quid and building a car park in Gorse Hill?
GPC parking has a ring to it don’t you think?
Areas named after their finest, Giggs, Rooney, Mount, Anthony et al. Especially the lowlife Wio - made a bloody fortune by monetising his poor wife and being this arrogant single father lark, all whilst cheating on her before she passed away - what an absolute prince!

There is very clearly an orchestrated effort from United to further isolate and demonise Sancho. Likely also an attempt to use the relatively tame affair to distract from the much more problematic scandals being reported.

I agree that they're trying to put it up as a distraction, but the problem is one that the current government can probably relate to - after a while, your distractions just become part of a broader pattern of scandals.

Inviting a convicted sexual abuser of young girls to be the guest of honour at a club even for young girls should be a story that absolutely dominates the news for a week, but it's currently competing with another sexual violence against women scandal, the club potentially knowing about it, and then the Sancho row and the Glazers taking the club off the market.

Imagine how things would be going if Wolves hadn't been robbed and United were 15th in the table!

Oh, I agree. Hence why I said “attempt”—it is not going to be successful.

And I personally think there is not an insignificant chance that our chairman and others close to City are behind some (though, not all) of the newfound focus on United’s myriad problematic financial, ethical, and sporting behaviour.

it's uefa ffp that! I bang on about this because I still don't know what premier ffp is or if it's the same or Gill is hard at work changing it for the 4th time in 9/10 years!!
You’d assume that PL FFP will align to UEFA FFP again, but stranger things have happened.

The 105% wage cap disappeared when the rags got into difficulties with it.

Disagree, think sources are anti glazers and united based (formal and informal) trying to create unrest amongst fan base to force glazers out

I think that is definitely a lot of it. And I would include the prospective buyers attempting to reduce the club valuation.

But I do think there is a real probability that we are behind some of the leaked information seeding some of the reports.

Khaldoon specifically hinted at consequences for coming for City and there is no reason to believe that was merely sabre rattling. That is not his modus operandi: when he says he intends to do something, he does it, even if not immediately. He is quite adept at picking the most opportune time to strike and this relative moment of all-around weakness would be a fairly good point of action.
