You make a good point on the social media aspect of it. I really would not be surprised if there is some input from someone with connections to the club influencing social media campaigns in order to force the players hand. It's just the kind of shithouse thing that rancid club would do.

Yes, i absolutely do feel sorry for the guy. Regardless of him being a Rag he is basically a guy going through a tough time in his career. Most people have been through this and it isn't nice, granted he gets paid huge sums of money that the rest of us don't, however, my bad days are kept pretty much private while his happen in front of millions of people. Keyboard warriors who wouldn't have the bottle to say anything to his face post derogatory comments about him all over social media.

I see a lot of parrallels between what happened with Sterling and what we are now seeing with MaGuire.

What makes this worse is at least with Sterling he had the support of the fans and the club, it doesn't appear to be this way with the Rags. And why do they think he should just walk away from a contract just to then give him all this abuse, if I was in his position I would be looking to get out of the club but doing it that I don't give away my right to what is owed.

It has now decended to nothing more than bullying.

I'm starting to feel sorry for him, last night was a bit far, what can the Scots fucking mock? If Maguire was Scottish he'd be their best centre half since Colin Hendry. He definitely needs to get himself out of United but would any of us be taking a £100 grand a week paycut voluntarily.

I tell every rag I meet he's their best defender to wind them up but I do genuinely think he's a decent player when he was in form and had confidence. He's always been pretty good for England under immense pressure aswell.
