The 4ft skunk Martinez actually aint a bad defender imo. I was on him like a rash for mockery after Brighton slapped them start of last season and he just kept playing well. Until that Anfield game anyway.

I normally would rate him over Lindelof, who is one of the only defenders I've ever seen shy away from a block and perma crocked Varane. He is shot to bits mentally at the moment and a bit of a liability though Maguire no doubt, but thats down to the treatment he gets off his own fans and the press.

Imagine if we'd all jumped on Jonny Stones to the same extent when he had a spell of bad form and troubles off the pitch? The rags have got what they deserve.

Tbf to Southgate (and I hate the ****) he did stick up for Raheem a few times.

Martinez is carp. Goes to ground to often. Misses 2 tackles and hits with the third and then it's wow what a tackle! He's shite in the air for obvious reasons.
 
As suspected, the Antony thing is starting to unravel.

A voice message recording of the 33 year old 'banker' who flew from Brazil to a Manchester hotel, to meet him for a "business meeting", has been revealed, and has her trying to extort money from him. He also has over a thousand whatsapp messages from her.

Stuff about her not wearing any knickers etc...

He really is a thicko, to put his career at risk like this. Sending knob pics to strangers from Instagram. Of course they want money, they're not attracted to spotty midgets covered in prison tats.

It’s happened a bit with Kalvin Phillips, but he’s not made any glaring mistakes. He just seems to get worse, in some fans’ eyes, every time he doesn’t play.
