Did anyone see Mike Dean on ITV Racing yesterday? He part owns a horse that came 2nd. When asked about how he got into it he said Sir Alex Ferguson introduced him to horse ownership.

I wonder how many dodgy penalties that cost?.....

Even if qatar did buy them in reality it doesnt really mean they are absolutely immediately going to be challenging again, they are coming late to the party at this stage, everybody has money now and all this qatar guy has shown is big talk, if he was rich as everybody says he is and a united fan why not just pay the money asked, nah it was bid after bid, then another final bid yadda, guy is quite rightly a businessman, i have no doubt if bought it will give them a bit of a boost but if united fans thing new owners are going to return them to previous levels they are in for a rude awakening.

Having extra money to spend won’t be a game changer like it was for us back in 2008. They spend money like no other team in the league so that won’t make a difference, they need to get it right on the coaching, management and recruiting the right players. They won’t do that and get it right with what we have seen from Ten Hag.
