I’ve got to the point where I very very rarely watch other teams over the last few weeks, I’ve realised I don’t give a fuck about them and I’ve got better things to do with my time. However, I thought I’d turn the tv on this afternoon to see what match was on, and it was at this exact point. I turned it straight back off and put a film on instead, just validated not paying attention to any of the matches anyone else plays.

Strange game today, especially as West Ham seemed to cock-up so many breakaway opportunities, but the post match commentary was predictably laughable clickbait.
Mainoo has come from nowhere and potentially looks quite promising, but today he hardly got a kick and the space behind him was obviously targeted. Similarly Rashford looked off the pace, and whilst Garnacho and Hojland both had good moments, let's not kid ourselves that United are anything but Top 6 at best.

Seem to be at that Ollie stage again with Utd & ETH.
They win and its look see he has a plan and we are progressing. We want them to win every now and then just to keep this guy in the job we all know is not the guy.
They lose and it turns into we are Manchester united, we have standards and that is not good enough and so on.
Not sure anyone can with confidence say they know the plan this coach has and what the path forward is for his team.
My favorite one though since Fergie, convinced many that he is this tactical genius so they can't not back him.

There is no plan. Wolves screwed up the other night and West Ham screwed up their chances yesterday to make a game of it.
If they think the way they played against these two and Newport County is a plan, then fantastic, keep at it. Might get back into Europe if they're lucky, but I'd be reserving Thursdays if they do.
