Rags need to sell the aging stars. Go back to basics, start with a young progressive manager and get a young team on the pitch and mould them into how the club wants them to play.

It’s really not that difficult. Swallow the pride and restart the club.

They won’t and we will continue to enjoy their demise. Rag cunts.
They won't because they believe they genuinely believe they should be a the top table now and have no stomach for a reset which could take seasons to realise. Long may they continue to think that

How does this Jim Ratcliffe deal work? If he’s paying for 25% now with an option for the rest in the future, wouldn’t it be best for him to ensure the value of the club doesn’t rise in the interim?

Smells fishy to me. I reckon Ratcliffe has no intention of buying outright and will take the best offer that gives him a profit. No way the club is worth £6bn and risen 30% in the last year, it’s a ruse to show other interested parties that if Ratcliffe is “willing” to purchase it, the value must be genuine.

A big issue faced by the Rags is that they`ve missed out by sticking put at the Swamp. The likes of City, West Ham, Arse, Spuds have built new stadiums at an affordable price. The costs involved for a new stadium are prohibitive in this day and age. So the likes of them and their Dipper mates continually put a sticking plaster on their ancient grounds and add the odd seat block here and there, too scared to relocate from their sacred roots.
FFS even Sunderland, Leicester and Reading have grounds that put old toilet to shame.

Perhaps they could do us all a favour and build a new stadium off the M25 ring road.
They should have claimed the commonwealth stadium before anyone knew it was up for grabs.
Then smugly told the world about their beautiful new stadium. ;-)
