The rags woes are a demon of their own making. For over 30 years they have been run as though they were a film company and not a football club. They hyped up their success to grow the fan base, then fed them with the best players available. Created the semi myth of the class of 92 and then kept it going every time they had a new player that came out of the woodwork only to disappear as quickly. But this created the myth of a never ending stream of worldies coming out of the academy.

Forward 20 years and they no longer pull the current stars so because they believe their own hype and to prolong the myth, they bring in stars on the skids and mediocre players. Who they then polish in the media until they gleam until the media politely cough, turn their backs but strangely don’t comment.

They now refer to their historic past as their DNA and this is just more polishing of the same turd. DNA is what it is and it never changes. It just carries on for millennia unlike a football club who have to move with the times. They will not progress until they stop trying to recreate (overnight) what they had 15 years ago. Teams like us, Villa, Brighton etc have had to build from the bottom. We were not an overnight success in 2008, we had to build the team through several stages before we became globally attractive to the best players in the world.

Until the rags smell the coffee and suck up where and who they are now they will never get it right.

Sancho possibly on his way back to Dortmund, on loan for the rest of the season. Rumours of a €3.5m fee, and Dortmund paying 30% of his wages. The latest in a line of disastrous buys. If he rediscovers his form from the last spell there, that's a really good deal for the Germans.

Varane leaving for free at the end of the season and the left back from Spurs having his loan deal axed half way through. Do they ever do good business? It’s half way through the season and their striker who was supposed to be the second coming of Haaland has mustered up one goal in the league. Absolute comedy club.

World's biggest club are in for a new striker, considering Bayern's Choupo Moting and Mueller both 34.

Also in for Werner and Guirassy, if they are able to raise funds from a sale.

All of says to they're skint, hopefully vultures circling.
But sure they splashed £72 mill or whatever on Haaland lite, what the fuck are they at now trying to bring in another striker as the one they signed doesn’t seem to be all that, after having their PR people the media tell us he was the dogs dangly bits ..

And that flatters them with those last minute goals against other mid table teams.
Dont forget the wank VAR decisions they got there way ............. i know they are shit now but at the time that Wolves non pen was a fooking shocker............they got aided big time against Wolves and Forest had VAR not helped them out they would be sat 12th which in all honesty is where they should be sat
