It appears the Glzers can force Chemical Jim to sell his shares in 18 months…

Glazers can force Jim Ratcliffe to sell Man United stake in 18 months

Aren’t they just the gift that keeps on giving?
Just when you thought you couldn’t laugh anymore at them, they do this bless them

Think them passing this year accounts PSR and come august there is yet another new PSR regulations coming in and in line with uefa ones! They will spend massive this summer because they've reduced there wage bill by 60m and that means if first year of PSR is 90% of turnover allowed and there turnover will be around 650m next accounts I'd guess means they can spend 100 of millions this summer if Glazers/Ratcliffe want too..
No they can’t, it also includes limited losses not just turnover, they’ve just posted a 3 month loss of around 26m on 157m turnover up to the 30th September. It’s the reason they are hamstrung and restricted from buying players this window.

They’ve over committed on a shite squad and the likely failure to qualify for the CL will fuck them over even more, the interest payments on debts which have increased since Truss completely fucked the economy means they’re truly paying the price in high interest charges.

They’ve got no get out as they have so many wank players on huge contracts who other clubs won’t pay a significant fee for and equally wank players who won’t move because they’re on easy street.

Btw, UEFA PSR started this season at 90%, this August for the 24/25 season its 80%.

It's not confirmed yet but it your not in Europe it's rumoured to be 85% of turn over on wages! Hate the kunts hope they can't spend a bean in the summer

Varane leaving on a free, Casimero they are looking to offload after us all being told he was better than Rodri last season. Sancho playing at Dortmund whilst the rags top up his wages, Martial now banished from the first team squad. Maguire now back at first choice when they wanted him gone in August.

Would anyone give them half the money back they payed for Antony? Then you have fake Haaland with his two premier league goals this season. Also the forgotten man Mason Mount that can’t be trusted to start a game. That’s 8 players listed that have bombed, it’s nearly half a squad. They really can’t get any type of cohesive player recruitment going can they?

Today, it reported better revenues and slightly lower pre-tax losses in its first quarter period, ending September 30, 2023.

Total revenues for the period were £157.1m, up from £143.7m, while a pre-tax loss for the period of £32.804m was slightly lower than the £34.370m level the same time last year.

Current borrowings as of September 30, 2023 were $650m, which was unchanged from September 30, 2022.

But the club stated: “For fiscal year 2024, the company is forecasting revenue guidance to be within a range of £635m to £665m from prior guidance of £650m to £680m and adjusted EBITDA guidance to be within a range of £125m to £150m from prior guidance of £140m to £165m, owing to the early Champions League exit and related reduction in Broadcasting revenues".

All those players you mention in the first sentence apart from McGuire will need replacing and that’s going to cost. They will need a transfer fee of around £30m for Sancho to cover his amortised value at the end of the season, Dortmund won’t play over the odds and the player could ask for compensation as his wages will be significantly less in Germany.

I don’t think any club will pay even half Anthony’s fee and again his amortised vale at the end of the season will be in the region of £55m.

They’ve fucked if they don’t get in the CL but you can bet Masters (aided and abetted by the Redshirts) will be trying to come up with some sneaky rules that allow the Rags to rebuild outside the current framework as long as they’re not in Europe. Let’s hope other Clubs will see any changes in the PSR rules don’t just benefit the Redshirts and are adopted for good business practices, limiting debt would be a great start.

The Turkey’s voting for Christmas has seemingly come home to roost.
