I wish the football season would start soon, then we wouldn't be subjected to oddballs snuffling around in the dirt like tabloid pigs.

Some of the threads on here read like a bunch of women sat in a launderette in the 1970's.

"Ooooh, have you heard about Camel gob at number 5, they found whacky backy in his donkey jacket. They should bloody well send them back to where they belong....And that randy bugger at number 11, just like his father, can't bloody keep his hands to himself. If he's not feeling them up, he's slapping them down."

Assuming those rumours were actually true, he was in his prime (hahaha) not 35. Your comments are very delusional btw, ‘Sweden captain, World Cup winners’ like that means anything. If it did why was you so shit last season?

Only other English team to win a trophy. Played an entire season without a recognised center forward. Our (incredibly limited) Keeper won the golden glove for the most clean sheets in a season. It wasn't because of him. It was the defence.

Both full backs are better higher up the pitch than defending (Dalot and Shaw) Martinez is almost a CDM and has played there for Ajax. Varane to mop up with his pace. I think they are geared up for this. And if he plays Mount and Fernandes as two number 8's with Casemiro holding, it is essentially matching your midfield of last season with De Bruyne and Gundowan as 8's and Rodri holding.
Err…

No, it’s not.

None of those three is fit to lace the boots of the three City players you mentioned.

Your Raggy mates can't stand you can they, that's why you spout your bullshit on here.

I suppose everyone needs a friend.

United finished 14 points behind City at the end of the season.
United conceded 10 more goals than City.
The goal difference was +46 in City’s favour.
The golden glove keeper, and the defence, yet United still lost to City in the FA CUP final, which included the the fastest ever FA Cup Final goal.

Dress United’s season up how you want, but United’s season was fucking shit compared to City’s season. The Carabao Cup v the (proper) Treble. Let that sink in again.

Another thing on this... That 'matches' City's formation of the first part of last season. We've moved on from there, we're always evolving.

That said it isn't all about matching what we do. You're making progress, which is a start. Lots of other teams will as well though, so you may just end up standing still, who knows.

You'll need to keep the refs friendly though (as if they wouldn't be!), because that midfield starts to look worse once you take Casemiro's suspensions into account. Though maybe he will just continue to get away with stuff and you'll be fine.

I'm happy with Jonny Evans back at the club. He's a free agent. Pep tried to sign him in 2017 & 2019 when Laporte was injured and Fenandinho was played at center half. He's a ball playing defender. Does all the right things consistently.

He'll be a decent 5th choice center back, after world cup winners Martinez & Varane. Sweden Captain, Victor Lindelof. And Luke Shaw.
I don’t know who this **** is but he needs starving of oxygen right now Blues.
