Arsenal had a flash in the pan season. They went out of all the cup comps early and only had to concentrate on the PL and they bottled that in the end.
It is unlikely that Liverpool will hit the ground running with half their squad ripped out and replaced. It takes Klopp 2 seasons to build a squad.
Chelsea are a mess. An owner playing championship manager and wondering why Mykhailo Mudryk isn't the new Mbappe. They are a disaster.

And since this is a Manchester City forum, could we have your outlook on how much we must recover in order to compete with your lot ?

Rashford is a winger. Don't know why you lot are comparing him to Haaland. He plays off the left. He moved into the middle on a few occasions when Garnacho was brought on. And yes he was at Centre forward when he scored the winner in the derby, but he's not a recognised number 9. And Martial was injured for 95% of the season. We are desperate for a striker, as Ten Hag teams are set up that way. To have a target man.

I still think we did okay despite the missing pieces.

He's not a winger, he's a forward. It's like Liverpool moaning that they don't have a striker when Salah is banging in 30 goals a season.

He could have ran his contract down, signed for Juventus and bought from Juventus for £89 million before running his contract down for a second time and signing on a free for Juventus again.
