More like being in on it with the agents. Weren’t there rumours a while ago of one of the England managers (maybe Woy) mysteriously giving loads of debuts to players who had the same agent as him?

It’s not just the rags either. I can’t help but think that Gallagher and Palmer would be nowhere near the England squad if they played for any other mid table side than Chelsea. Half a decent season is all it’s taken, while plenty of players do well at other clubs for a few years before getting the call up.
Gallagher is a case in point.

He did well at Palace on loan last season, but didn’t have even a sniff of an England call-up.

Basically this

He looks a decent little player but he's played 14 games at senior league level. At almost any other club he wouldn't get a look in after so few games. It's not like it's even a Rico situation where he's been doing it in a team winning everything. This kid is in a mediocre team.

He would get his pants pulled down against good midfields at international level right now. Nowhere near the experience required yet.

Let him play in the under 21s for a bit. Never did the likes of Palmer any harm recently and now he's proving himself and rightly in the senior squad.

Sure you get the odd exception like bellingham coming in the team very young, but this lad is not on that level.

This is exactly why I dont support England. Just because he is a rag he gets picked for England. Plays a few games for the rags and he is the next big thing, like any of their kids that play a few games.

Gallagher seems to split opinion. I quite like him, but many don’t rate him at all.
He’s a good player, but there’s a reason that a team that’s relying on him as one of their main threats is 11th in the league. It’s not like Grealish for Villa where he was running the show every week for a couple of seasons.
