I find it strange that they are spending £200 million on players while trying to sell the club. Even more so with them sailing clise to the wind with FFP.
Any spend now will restrict what a new owner can spend on arrival.
Any spend now will be sat on their books for the next 5 years, no outgoings yet to offset the cost either.

Is this (silly) headline and article from the following red top tabloids?

The Sunday Sport? No!
The Dailly Star? No!
The Sun? No!
The Mirror? No!
The Daily Express? No!
The Daily United? (Mail)? No!

The headline and article is from…….

BBC (United) Football - Mediacity.

Hope he’s shit.

And why can they keep spending?
Something doesn't add up.

The club have even admitted their income is down and the debts have increased (and thats without revealing the true extent of their finances with their accounts hidden away in the Cayman Islands) and they've said only have "limited" transfer funds available... and yet they still end up spending more in these last two windows than ever before.

Perhaps that is the Glazers plan?

Quite cunning really... spend this money now so that any potential buyers will be put off from buying as they'll be hobbled by FFP for the next few seasons and won't be able to come in and further spend and improve the squad.

That way the Glazers get to stay and carry on taking their income from the club whilst being under no obligation to spend any more on players as they need to comply with FFP.
