The problem Manchester City had was No history in the Champions League, but Mancini was and at City he just needed 2 to 3 seasons in the Champions League and we would have been right there with a very good chance.

Loved the Mancini years and he brought us our first bit of silverware in donkey years, Yes,he could be an iron fist sort of manager, but knew the Modern player's setups and then we had Mario ? I think Mario broke the players dressing room and Mancini, after that there is only one winner and sadly Mancini was sacked.

Then it would have been a very big mistake that would have taken 2 or 3 years away from what we had in mind with the Spanish vision and DNA and Pep,

Don't get me wrong, Jose is a great coach, But he's bad long-term for your club because of the damage with his instant success and Big money spending with no future planning

Donny Beek, an 80m player bargained at 40m, he knows about as much as I do.Watch him and the other nomark do the transfer show, its absolutely comedy gold, watching them waffle for an hour with no knowledge is an art in itself.

How can the Sheikh Jizzy bid now be acceptable?
The cat is well and truly out of the bag, his photographs that are now in the media, are no longer in black and white.
Even one in traditional garb is now out there.
They won't want that sort of oil money investment now would they?
 
Apparently they're set to trigger a 1 year extension for that kid who looks like Sideshow Bob and celebrates like he's just scored the winner when scoring a consolation goal in a 3-1 home defeat to the mighty Brighton.

How come it's only united that seem to have this 1 year extension thing on players contracts? I never hear of any other club having such an arrangement.

It's presumably part of their contract negotiating strategy
