They are probably still expecting the rag premium on sales that teams like Sunderland used to pay for their rejects - they are that deluded
Yeah, but their little clique of ex players have been found out as managers now, so there’s nobody left to buy their shite, barring Carrick, but he knows a bit about tactics, so won’t buy them either.

Hilarious watching the know-nowts on Sky getting giddy over United signing a a reserve goalkeeper from Turkey for £4m, Jonny Fucking Evans as a free agent without a club, a fringe player from Spurs on loan and Amrabat from Fiorentina on loan. Fucking hell, how have the mighty fallen. Comedy club.
Too true! Simple Simon Stone ( BBC's " Northern " Football Correspondent ) getting very excited about the rags three brilliantly managed signings ( Johnny Evans - free agent / Serge Reguilon - loan tsfr / Altay Bayindir - £4M ! ) and all signed in time for them to play Arsenal this Sunday. And this on the very day SEVEN City players are picked for the England U21s - and as for ManU - ZERO players selected. The sale of Palmer brings the income from the sale of Academy products during Pep's 7 year reign to almost £500M . In comparison , the rags' world famous academy has earned a meagre £50M. What's not to like?
