The major issue Man Utd have, is that now, due to TV payments, every club now has money to spend on players. Back in the day only Man Utd could go and outspend all the other clubs. It’s not the Glazers they hate, It’s the level playing field they hate.

It’s not even level, it’s just not tilted as much to their advantage as it once was.

They're going to need to start putting clauses in the contracts of new players at this rate. Still got 4 years at a reported 200 grand a year (hilarious even before this accusation), so it'd take over 40 million to pay him off.

Pretty sure they'd be able to sack him if he does get found guilty. Whether they would do so in light of recent events remain to be seen.
