True, I have read alot of your posts, which are very fair, although you do go a bit overboard on your analysis of former and present Sporting players....you would think they would have a few chumps league titles based on them! ;)
........and the whinger is not world class at any stretch.

To be fair three of the players I rate the most are former Benfica players ;)

As for the current Sporting players I only post the ones I believe can play at a higher level.

Their is some talent in the Benfica team I will post as well but as for Porto only Diogo Costa has enough to play in a better league in my opinion.

However, Ugarte, Grimaldo, Luis Diaz and Porro are recent guys I really rated from Portuguese league.

Dutch league I have many guys I enjoy to watch as well like Santiago Giménez and some other names. Although like I said I only post guys who o genuinely think would interest blue moon and can play a higher level.

That’s one of the things I enjoy most about bluemoon is talking about other players that normally don’t get spoken as much as the world class players of the game.

As closely as I follow City and the Prem, I so wish I had time to follow other leagues too. Not that I’d ever love any other side — the interest would just be more for fun and intellectual/sporting enjoyment. Portugal would be a great place to start as I’ve been to every city there — partial to Braga because that stadium with the sheer cliff on one end is so cool :)

You stated (or I think it was you) that he would never start for City. However Jack Grealish numbers for city being “poor” being been a nice way to put it in the last 2 years ar City compared to Bruno’s statistics and production is not even close, yet Grealish started a lot.

However since I am sure we won’t agree we can both just agree to disagree mate, not everyone opinions will be the same and that’s fine.

Numbers aren’t everything, Grealish is superb. You don’t achieve what we have achieved with passengers.

There’s no numbers for Grealish sprinting back 60 yards to stop Salah scoring, no numbers for carrying & holding possession to ensure complete control. No numbers for drawing 3 players to allow overloads all over the pitch.

If the Rags had players with these qualities they wouldn’t be where they are.

You can’t define any goal as “world class”, some go in others don’t but they’re described as “worldlies” We had a player called Nicholas Jenson who once scored a goal that made Rat Biys goal look like a tap in, he certainly wasn’t world class.

He provides a high number of goals and assists.

Brilliant finisher and striker of the ball and has an engine where he never stops. His passing accuracy is low because of the types of passes he does but he is a good passer as well.

KDB rates him highly as do many in the league.

I’m with you guys, United are cnuts and their fans are no better, but Bruno is a dam good player and his stats show that.

I think it’s wrong to say he’s “not close” to starting for city.

He is the perfect example of, a player you hate for various reasons but would love if he was on your team.

He wouldn’t make our bench. Absolute shithouse

One of those goals you never forget if you're lucky enough to witness it.
