I completely disagreed with Bernardo receiving a ban and fine. All that should have happened is - well firstly the media needed to shut the fuck up - he should have been warned that our culture in Britain around race and what can/can’t be said and done might be a bit different to yours in Portugal so just think before doing anything in the future.

That’s all that needs to happen here. Just because Bernardo was given wrong punishment doesn’t mean everyone else should afterwards.

Agreed, but I’m sure Darren Lewis will no doubt be penning his response calling it unacceptable, whether Onana is offended or not.

I literally had to Google who he is. Never heard of him.

A little anecdote. I noted today that a guy who I worked with years ago, who I follow on Facebook, is a huge red. Great guy. But his son, who’s 10 , was in a family photo in a City shirt. It amused me.

The tide is turning!
