The good news is the quad is still on like last season, but this is the new quad. As things stand, this looks very achievable.

1. Sack their manager.
2. Mid table obscurity.
3. One of their players goes to prison
4. Part of their stadium collapses

At one point Neville said “this club is the highest revenue-generating club in England.”

Despite them generating less revenue than both us and the Scousers. He stated it like some obvious truism. The idea that they actually aren’t in any way special doesn’t enter his brain for even a second.

They make less money than us
Are in more debt than us
Have less valuable assets than us
They lose on the pitch
They lose off the pitch

There is no actual measure by which they are a superior club to us other than their own preconceived exceptionalism. Which… I’ll state it again… is a figment of their deluded imaginations.

They’re like the Donald Trump of football clubs. They keep asserting that they’re winning some kind of race, but no fucker can figure out what race they’re even running in.
This is an outstanding post. I want to like it 12 times. “But we’re Manchester United!” “He’s not a United player.” “Manchester United deserve better than him/this/that.”

“Preconceived exceptionalism.” That’s it. That’s THE problem. From so many of their fans to the pundits to the players to — especially — the owners. Which is why they don’t think 6 billion is enough.

Long may they drown in shit that they’ve mistaken for champagne.

Neville saying that its a graveyard for players to go to utd.....

Thats a big statement - it wont go down well but its so true

Ten Hag is the worst one yet.

Sitting deep and playing on the counter attack is not difficult, that’s why teams who can’t compete do it.

You really only need 2 things - defensive structure and positional discipline. They have neither.

Sam Allardyce would do better.
He is so its really suprising that if they manage to beat Fulham he will be the fastest utd manager in history to reach 50 wins in the prem...

Spot on - but personally I hope the delusion lives on. For 12-13 years now they've carried that same mentality that everything will be handed to them and they have a god given right to win, and they've fallen flat on their faces because of it. The club is rotten to the core and will continue to fester in large part due to this nonsensical superiority mentality have.

They're shit. They've been shit for over a decade. And they still act like they're shocked by how shit they are, like it's not supposed to happen. Let it continue. Most professional footballers were under 10 last time they were any good. Give it another 5 years of dysfunction and people will truly be wondering who the fuck are man united.
The Pope likes this post

On paper they shouldn’t really be as bad as they are but there must be a curse when players or mangers who have a good track record walk through the door they turn to crap, even Neville said it was a graveyard of talent
It's ego.

"This is Manchester United", "This shouldn't happen to Manchester United" that we hear all the time, it runs up and down the club.

It can't be a co-incidence that so many players turn into complete cunts when they join, as well as not looking as good. They're told "Hey, you play for Manchester United, you must be the best in the world". It kills that desire to prove, to fight, to win. They don't need to win to prove anything. Why? Because they play for Manchester United. The greatest club. They must already be a success.

I think part of it is,that they think they are better than what they are the players going there think they have already achieved something don’t forget this is Manchester utd after all it’s a mindset that has festered deep into the club and any players that go their they believe the hype that is constantly pumped out ..

Good minds think alike ;-)

That is absolutely criminal dereliction of duty. He's only the fucking record Premier League goalscorer ffs!
That is truly embarrassing defensive positioning by Maguire for the 2nd.
Not only is he almost in the keepers way he has his back turned, and is no where near the most lethal striker on the planet.
Wow.

And a shoehorn for the next England match..
