I don't believe they could because we rent it, taking the more simplistic explanation (For my benefit entirely) if you rent a house from the council they can't impose lodgers on you can they?

But they (council) could suggest that we sub-let it on those days/times we are not using it. Thursday nights being one example.

Could you imagine how they'd hand it over after those crazy non CL Thursday nights mate :)

Gigg lane awaits, they could even play their home games in Oslo, London or Dublin it would save the fans travelling.

They do take very good care of their fans, in some sections of the ground they offer unlimited free showers.
 
I see Chelsea jim has still not got his foot in the door. I was expecting him there during the international break so he could start his big revamp without worrying about who'll beat them next.

Seeing as they’ve got squillions of ‘fans’ everywhere, allegedly, they could play their home games on tour. After yesterday’s vote they’ve got at least 11 friends they can borrow a stadium from in this country alone. Then Cardiff, Dublin, Hong Kong, Miami, Tampa Bay, Oslo, Glasgow & The Eden Centre. That will leave just Manchester and in that respect they can fuck off.
