To those business savy blues out there - hopefully you can clear something up for me.
I keep hearing Scruffy Jim's dealings at them as "a minority takeover" - does such a thing exist??
It's like other rag phenomena, 659m fans, half a million at a game in balmy Barcelona, a youth player in every starting lineup since the second world war.... you get the picture.

Wait until the 'takeover' is actually fully verified in Friday, wall to wall raggy wankathon in the press.

Just a pile of bollocks.

All this optimism at the Rags , then Luton stuff them on Sunday and its back to crisis talks and Ten Bob Out , they are a joke of a football club and have been for a decade , agents must rub their hands when they come calling. If there was a transfer mug league they would be top every season.

They have a massive pile of porn in the board room. Mainly to soak up the drips from the leaking roof. Ex Giggs and Granny.

No such thing he’s getting 25% of the business,
17% of the Bshares ) the ones that count) the rest are Ashares worth 1/10 in voting power of the Bshares. He is paying £1.28B for the privilege Effectively he’s paid £1.28b for a 25% share of >£1B of debt He’s also doing it with out any real rivals the Qatar Sheikh was never ever able to show proof of funds Glaziers must be laughing even louder that ever on the way to the bank
But presumably if they use that 1B to pay off the debt, then they save shed loads in repayments every year and it’s all gravy from hereon in?

Manchester United's squad last year were the "most expensive ever assembled" in football, says a Uefa report.

The European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report says United's players at the end of their 2023 financial year cost 1.42bn euros (£1.21bn) in combined transfer fees.

The total does not include £72m Rasmus Hojlund, £55m Mason Mount or £47m Andre Onana, all of whom joined in the 2023 summer transfer window.

I can't wait for the UEFA and PL investigations to start! But I won't hold my breath.

I wonder if Jim White and Simon Jordan will be discussing this on their show this morning? If they do they will probably be saying what excellent value for money they have achieved. All done ‘organically’ of course and a debt mountain north of £1 billion is OK because they can service it.

Nearly had an accident on my keyboard, just read rasmus birttles linked with Madrid?

Maybe go the whole hog and do a 2 for 1 deal with Johnny fucking Evans?!?! Still with scruffy Jim at the helm, anything's possible.......

Lads, I’ve rattled them again, yet another delusional, red shirted scat shagging, Greggs subscribing, egomaniacal, utterly dross fan base and cherry on top of the pile of shite club.

If that's you on that show, well done blue. They tried to mock with sniggering and quoted nonsense from knuckledragging nomarks but you held you're nerve and shut them up. Fantastic

Not me, I was talking about the tweet. I did one earlier this year about Klopp’s bullshit lies about spend.
