They can match the points total City finished on in our last brush with relegation under Stuart Pearce in 06/07 if they manage to get a result against Aston Villa next weekend. The free ride and wall of silence from the press is deafening, they have a budget to operate on to buy players which maybe only 4 other teams in the league could try and match, yet here we are going into the last game of the season and they haven’t got 40 points yet.

It truly is embarrassing for a club that has the income that the rags do.

Amorim has a worse record than all his predecessors he is surviving for a number of reasons mainly because he is the new regime's choice He also benefits from a belief that he will turn it around when he gets players that suit his system yet, they won't be able to recruit as many as needed due to PSR. The hole place is in disarray people who work there, those that are left, have low moral with more examples of the club not funding final tickets for staff with players and ex players offering to fund so embarrassing for the self-elected biggest club in the world. They are clinging on to sneaking into the UCL via the back-door which will be a big help for them financially and in the hope of attracting players, hopefully Spurs will put paid to that.
Its going to be a very interesting summer in Trafford win or loose the EL

Champions league football might give them a temporary bump to go sign players in the summer. Can they be trusted to recruit the right ones though? The whole squad has issues in every part of the pitch which one window won’t fix, not to mention how thin it is. Remember the person they brought in to fix the recruitment issue was fucked off with no one else appointed.

Then the raggies will potentially have 8 champions league games to manage around their domestic campaign. They can’t rotate as the squad is threadbare which will have an impact on what they do playing every few days. You look at how many points they’ve got this season. Have they actually got the capability to add another 30 plus points next season to get top four. They won’t have the luxury of fucking off their PL fixtures to compete in the European Sherpa van trophy. Their cycle of bust and bust again will keep going for the foreseeable.

Do you there fans be still supporting him if they crashed out the Europa 3 rounds ago?

Whilst we miss out.

It's nailed on for the fuckers.
At least 2 of Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle, Forest or ourselves are going to miss out.
That upgrading to a CL place for winning Europa needs to be reviewed.

Was it Atalanta who qualified this year and were no great shakes.

And to think, we had an entire squad whose entire season depended on how fit and well Weaver, Dunne and Distin played..................
