Manchester United ticket price plans 'a kick in teeth', says fans' group
Fans are critical after the highest priced tickets at Manchester United rise from £66 to £97 next season.www.bbc.co.uk
The death spiral continues. Was just going to post the same …
“Manchester United fans have accused the club of giving fans a "kick in the teeth" after announcing matchday ticket prices could reach £97.
The most expensive matchday tickets at Old Trafford last season were £66.”
A 50% INCREASE on some match day tickets, to watch what is highly likely to be a team in the bottom 3 after the first 6 games.

The inevitable result of FFP/PSR, as soon as one club goes overboard with ticket prices the pressure will be on everyone else to keep up (regional variations/London weighting notwithstanding).Drink it in :)

Yeah, you'd expect them to be getting close, that might be why they've raised the prices though. There is a saturation point where a business has wrung out all it can wring out of punters, the rags hopefully have hit that now.
If ever the gap between us was in doubt.
City may not get everything right with pricing but this lot take the piss.
Are they still charging full price for kids too?
I suppose from a viewing numbers point of view they are correct. From the BBC
Champions Liverpool will host Bournemouth in the Friday night curtain-raiser, while Manchester United will play Arsenal in the opening weekend's standout fixture at Old Trafford.
So 2nd v 15th is the “stand out fixture”
Except the BBC won't have live coverage.I suppose from a viewing numbers point of view they are correct.
Point taken but your surely not suggesting the BBC are biased?Except the BBC won't have live coverage.
Never in a month of Stones.Point taken but your surely not suggesting the BBC are biased?
Empty seats incoming.....?There is a saturation point where a business has wrung out all it can wring out of punters, the rags hopefully have hit that now.
I'm certainly looking forward to it. We get to laugh at one or both sets of cunts whatever the result.I suppose from a viewing numbers point of view they are correct.
