Agreed re Saints. The rags really ought to beat them. Spurs? Depends which Spurs turns up. If they're on their game, the likes of Son, Solanke (if fit) and Maddison could cause that creaky midfield and back line all sorts of problems. If the "Spursy" version shows up, though, that's a different story. Palace could be very tricky. From memory, didn't they dick the rags 4-0 last season?

If they lose against Saints, they have problems.

There’s no way Saudi will pay £30m when the Rags want rid, player & buying club hold all the aces.

It will cost the Rags £30m to pay him to sit on his arse for 2 years.

I’d be asking for a £15m loyalty bonus then a £15m signing on fee from Saudi then we can talk wages.

Then the Rags will realise he’s not the biggest issue.
