I've got to share this.
A neighbour across the road from me was a diehard RAG home and away throughout the 1980’s onwards sadly he passed away six years ago.
His grandson is 5 years old today and outside the house is decorated with 50+ blue and white balloons and a flag with a CITY creast & photo on it.
He would be fuming if he could see his grandson is a BLUE. Made my day this morning. CTID

3 Months according to Luckhurst . . . is he reliable ?
My 14 yo son broke his metatarsal last fall (we’re in the US and were told it’s extremely common for football and basketball players - his broke while playing the later). They told us 6-7 weeks for teenagers and he was back playing competitive basketball at 7 weeks. Basketball doesn’t require as much running (time wise) and the subbing rules allow you to manage minutes upon return, but I assume elite athletes have better care than my son! Anyway, I assume 6+ weeks is accurate.

Surely this isn't right. I was told by a Rags fan that it's only fair they get the renovations of Old Toilet subsidised by the government as City were given a 'free stadium' after the Commonwealth games.

I did advise him that my understanding was you actually rent it from the Council but apparently I'm a stupid Arsenal fan and don't know about how City have 'influenced' the council to get the stadium 'for free'.

#whoknew
When we exercise our right to buy the freehold and all the rent paid is given back to us, there will be a wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I was only a kid at the time but if I remember rightly, the rags already had their chance to get a shiny brand new stadium holding 65k-70k didn't they? And they blew it.

During the Commonwealth Games bid (and Olympics bid before that) they were heavily consulted on a stadium of the above size but they didn't want to groundshare with us, thank goodness for their stupidity as well because even though we'd definitely have a bigger stadium, our current owner most probably would have looked elsewhere with likely issues over future development options.
In reality them rejecting the idea of a ground share with us on that big stretch of undeveloped land with the potential for the Etihad campus and much more, it gave Sheikh Mansour all the incentive he needed to invest in such a promising football club and dominate English football.

(Some dismiss that notion and say that Sheikh Mansour was already a big blue...

Meanwhile back in 2024 the tramps in Trafford after rejecting these shared stadium plans 30-35 years ago, they're dealing with many crises one them being a dilapidated rat infested stadium that's crumbling to bits, after years of neglect it's not fit for purpose and Jim ain't fixin it so is now scrounging cap in hand for tax payer money.

The rag scum shouldn't get any funding for this Billy big bollocks project when there's so many problems this country is facing, they won't in my opinion be getting a single penny because they'll be a UK wide uproar and people rightly just won't accept it.

Be fair.

The swamp has a lovely water feature.
