United Thread | 2024/25

United have posted losses of more than £92m for three of the last four years and have now recorded total losses of £372.8m over the previous five years and £257.4m across the last three years, but insist they are sticking by financial rules drawn up by the Premier League and UEFA.

The Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules allow for losses of £105m over a three-year period, but United claim they are inside that limit when allowable losses, such as investment in infrastructure, academies and women's football, are taken into account.

I would say one rule for one & one for another!

Well you seen that paint job in there tunnel must of put that down into the accounts as 10m

Can't be true that. After all, some United fans insist that they always live within their means and never post losses. FFP/PSR aside, they flung a lot of shit at us when we were making large losses in the early years of the takeover. At least there was a means to an end when we were doing it as ultimately it led to us becoming the best team on the planet and the club is now also very profitable. They just keep spending fuck tons of money every year and never get any better!
