They will get a big shock when asking ??. It was reported £10 billion buys the whole thing and the debt is still there for the new owners to sort out, I think anybody wanting to buy United will have to pay £15 billion

As I've said before, from what I've read the main reason Qatar pulled out was because united's accounts were so opaque they simply couldn't establish just what level of debt the club actually had.

officially the debt is over just under £1billion But we all now its well over £1billion and could be anything, If United had to hand over all their accounts Like City had to I think they would find lord Lucan and Shergar hiding

If their finances were put under a tenth of the scrutiny ours have been over the last 10 years...

No doubt as part of the due diligence process Qatar would have engaged the services of the very best forensic accountants and financial auditors available... and yet even they were unable to establish a clear picture of united's finances and debt levels.

And yet the PL are quite happy to just accept at face value whatever fantasy figures united's accounts department present to them.

Hiding money in Cayman Island accounts will do that.
