By the comments on here I thought the pen they gave away was going to be one of those VAR shockers. It wasn’t,De Ligt clearly kicks Ings legs from an under him, nowhere near the ball. It will be made into this big controversy as it’s the rags just as it was last week for Stones winner for opposite reasons. Both the correct decisions.
Definite pen, MOTD 2 saying it isn't ? He kicks his leg away ?

They always veer between "we've got a decent manager but shit players" to "we've got a shit manager but decent players"

Their pride and egos mean they've always got to maintain some form of straw grasping positivity, rather than just accepting that the players and manager are equally shit.
That's a big plus to be fair, non-acceptance stops any meaningful move forwards.

Here's the best bit folks, I think it maybe finally dawning on them that the problem isn't the Dutch twat.
It's the fucking crap players.

But shtick to the splan, has squandered £600,000,000 since his arrival, in 5 windows.
That's one hell of a stadium they could have bought, instead of bleeding the taxpayers. That could have also subsidised the £300 winter fuel allowance.

Agree.

I've seen loads of people saying it was never a penalty, but I don't think I've seen any saying why. Just 'never a pen', 'games gone', and 'var shouldn't overturn that'.

First replay I'd seen you can see De Ligt misses the ball and makes contact with Ings' shin. Why shouldn't it be a penalty?
