We have half joked on here that pundits are paid to say the full name of the club, especially Robbie Savage, but to be messaged, whilst doing live commentary on 2 other teams to stop being honest is a disgrace.
Why commentators have no sense of pride in their work is beyond belief. Unless money is involved of course.

I truly believe utd get royalties from every time pundits/media mention their full name.
Savage manage to get it in 3 times in 1 sentence the other week.
There can be no other explanation.
It just sounds forced and unnatural

I certainly would, any game where you're 5-0 up is a rubber duck to be used as a training exercise

In between busby and the hard shoulder shitter they sacked managers for fun. Post GPC theyre going through coaches quicker.

I recall a convo with a silly billy red when GPC was in charge and we were sacking coaches aplenty, he came out with the immortal line, “well its not the united way to sack our coaches”

I replied that it was easy to fuckin say that when they had a generational manager who delivered trophies and bought he wished off whomever he wanted to

I was talking to a rag at work and told him that football managers were like relationships, it takes the length of the relationship to get over it, so a 5 year relationship takes 5 years for you to get over and move on. I went on to say you had 25 years of Busby and waited another 25 years until you get Fergie and so on. He paused for a moment and replied “that means we have 10 to 15 years of this rubbish?”. “Yep” I answered and I followed it with the obviously sarcastic lie :“it gives me no pleasure in saying that to you!”. He doesn’t talk to me much anymore!
