If Trafford are so broke they are making people redundant, begging us for two seats on our plane etc ., how can they afford to pay off Ten Bob note and pay out Marimo watchamacallit’s release clause money?
Very strange.

Rag world and their finances are obviously clouded in mystery, by design. Hence the elusive Cayman Island accounts.

scruffy may not be aware of what the real true picture is despite doing all the his checks and balances, and " due diligence" - no doubt our financial experts may be able to confirm/expand.

The Glazers are taking the piss big style which is so very comforting, and brand rag might be in serious and lasting shit, hopefully.

I suspect that employing a capable manager is just putting a sticking plaster over a seriously deep wound.

I don't think they can afford it but then again the current majority owners didn't have enough money to buy it in the first place did they?
I don’t follow the ins and outs of this but it is very clear the rags have a serious financial problem. They can’t solve it buy selling players as so many would solidify a loss. Frankly, I have no idea what they can do. Their profligacy has come home to roost. Such a shame.

So, what is Amorim's style, Pep-like or PEG-like?

If he’s like PEG, why would we have been (allegedly) interested in him succeeding the bald fraud?
Apparently far from Pep-like, according to some, which calls to question if we were genuinely interested in him. Our links to him seemed to be journalists putting 2 and 2 together because we got Hugo Viana.

No doubt the Rags will still use this vague thread to build up hype around their new man. Prepare for phrases like "shrewd business" or "beating City to Amorim", as they did with Maguire, Fred etc.

I think he's probably a good coach, but the EPL is a far different beast. The media hype around Ten Hag wasn't that much different and look how that ended.
