I remember a rag at work absolutely busting his load, when TT was appointed. So the crayon munchers look likely to bust their load yet again pending the announcement of Amorim.
Let’s look at this in a bit more detail.
Since the GPC walked away the Rags have unequivocally adopted the “ new boss is better than the old boss”
Over a decade of relative mediocrity has failed wholeheartedly to enter their pebble sized grey matter that they are now just rank and file.
Without research I’m not sure any prospective new Messiah has entered the realm of the poisoned chalice from such a low base.
Nevertheless, appointing Amorim is not just another new kid donned in emperor’s new clothes.
The squad is as bad as has been this last decade, the stadium looks like prime estate in Afghanistan and now they have Scruffy Jim.
The stakes are very high this time, very high indeed.
They thought they were killing two birds with one stone. Get a manager we were supposedly after. (This strategy has worked wonders for them with players we were supposedly chasing) and release the news the day one of ours wins the ballon dor. These fuckers are so transparent! Same sycophantic headlines blowing smoke up his arse they did with tent peg rinse and repeat with these nob heads all getting giddy as fuck again they never learn! What seems apparent is there has been no real planning to get this guy in at all , if ETH had beat West Ham he’d still be in charge today , they’ve whored themselves around Europe virtually begging people to manage the club. Now if this was some sort of long term strategy, or even a short term one to get this guy to old Trafford I’d sort of thing they’re got an idea what they’re doing. This is a massive gamble for them , probably the biggest yet , if they don’t get top four I’d say they are royally fucked. I’d also say that Omar doesn’t appear to have a fucking clue what he’s doing , or that DOF they’ve brought in. To put it bluntly , they haven’t got a fucking clue what they are doing.
£60m for Anthony….as John Wayne once said ..” that’ll be the day!”@KentBlue Kent, Kent mate, I always enjoy your rag posts. I always think of them being said in an Alan Bennett monologue sort of way so, this one surprises me.
First of all. Last April this manager was 4 points clear and looking to win the league with Sporting and yet he jumped on a plane to be interviewed for the West Ham job.
To me this shows that if he gets it right at the swamp, at the drop of a hat, he will jump on a bus, train or plane to dash off to be interviewed by a big club :-)
Joking aside. Even if he is Peps younger, unknown brother, what can he realistically do there ? If Pep rocked up there how long do you think it would take him to get them successful on a regular basis ?
His best players are ergh, Maguire and.......fuck knows. If they try and sell any one of them, who is going to buy ? No-one will match their wages and unless the rags are willing to lose 60 million on Anthony and the like they are stuck with them. It would take 4-6 transfers windows to clear out and replace.
All the while, as long as we stick to our policies, we are growing stronger. We are not standing still.
So Kent, I don't think your monologues are in any danger of drying up in the next 10 years (longer if we remember our core values).
Stooges?Amorim favours a back 3. Can anyone think of a combo of 3 current rag defenders that doesn't make you laugh just thinking about it?
Purple nose wasn’t banned from the swamp.Apparently the gpc was back in his usual seat at the swamp last night. A week ago he was banned presumably by Eth and disappeared. One more bad result and Eth is gone and the gpc is back casting his long and toxic shadow....
Slabby, shorty and shitty?Stooges?
