All the rag client journalists will be on their way to Lisbon now in the hope of Sporting beating us on Tuesday, so they can include it in their.. "Inside Amorin's Red Revolution" pieces currently in preparation.

The desperation by the media to convince us all that this appointment will solve everything is laughable/nauseating
But not unexpected. With the vermin it's like Groundhog Day, repeating the exact same procedure day in day out - all the while being aided and abetted by an ever-obliging media. It's the old saying about doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting different results.

But they can never face the harsh reality of their situation all the while they have the idiotic ramblings of mentality minnows like Slimey Stone and his ilk. Alleged 'journalists' who paint a picture of blissful serenity at the swamp, knowing full well it is anything but. We have the media frothing at the mouth because the rags have replaced their manager - as they seem to do every year or so. Out with the old and in with the new, except the new is the same old with a different name.
If City had a minister of propaganda I would be livid. I'd say: 'Fuck that. Tell it how it is, not how you would like it to be.' The only way the rags are going to learn is by accepting the stark reality that they are a badly-run club and have been for many long years. Look at the debt, analyse it and find ways to clear it. Get rid of the deadweights in the changing room and cut your losses, stop reading the tabloids and watching Sly Sports, get a perspective and stick with it. The longer they live in fairy-dairy land the harder the inevitable fall back to reality will be.

They’re always going to be fucked as long as the glazers and Brexit Jim are in charge.

Look at what he did to Team Sky. Car crash.

Thought he knew better than Land Rover how to build Land Rovers. Nobody’s bought a Grenadier and there’s thousands of them stockpiled in car parks being flogged off at a discount. The next model has been cancelled.

The guy is a meddling pig headed clown.

Long live the raggy revolution.

Amorin has a style he has played for his time as manager, alwas 3 at the back

martinez, deligt, mcguire

I dont think that is solid enough to play that way with the midfield they have ahead of them.

Most likely why he wanted to come in the summer and have his type.of plyer come i. when he does, trying to turn these clowns into a functioning defence, now he is stuck and if it doesn't work will soon have the players having him by the balls because defeats will weaken him tgey willl go back todoing as they please performance wise as has happened for years
My main point of reply was your bit about players in multiple positions, hence the Zinchenko and Rico references. The rags do not have the players to do thst.
I agree about a back 3 being preferred but if that is your back 3......
Martinez has been found wanting in other set ups so I can't see a back 3 suiting him.
Delight is a scruffy Jim signing and the jury's out and
Maguire has been on the transfer list for 2 years.

So to play his way the first thing Amorim needs to do is sign two players.
To play a back 3 needs the rest of the team to work. If he can make that happen, he deserves his wages

Can't see him dropping Fernández
Yeah so it will be him alongside either mainoo or Ugarte....

Unless he plays fernandez as one of the front 3

So a 3 -4-1-2 - his wingbacks adding the width? - Fernandez being the one behind Hoiland plus one other.

Anyone hear the rumour that the players wanted RVN to get the full time role and they refused to train for the Chelsea match and he had to persuade them to train?

Prob a load of crap but would be funny if true
