My dad turns 90 years old this September and frequently states his bitterness towards our former Chairman Robert Smith and board for allowing the rags to play at Maine Road post WW2.

I hope our modern club doesn't offer the same hospitality to that lot if they do get this pie in the sky development off the ground when the rags need a temporary home.

They said it usually takes around 10 years to build something like that but they saying be 5 years?! Yeah right and the longer it takes to build the more money it will cost like Wembley
 
sorry if posted earlier, but what the fuck is this shite from Burnham? Why exactly should those cunts have the best stadium in the world?

If they finance it for themselves, then fair enough, and the extra income it will generate will obviously help with servicing the borrowed cost. Whether you like it or not, their brand is still huge.

Hopefully the team on the field stays shit for a long time to come.

How long is the North Stand taking to build? (That’s just an additional tier aswell)

Like many things, the cost will go up and up and up as each year passes.
But as long as the Government/council pay for it who gives a Raggy shiney shite.

And they’ll get more Metrolink stops on top of the 38 they already have

That stadium looks like it is designed to attract funding from Arab state countries . Sheikh Jizz being touted again by any chance ?
