Where is the new statium being built ?
First thing I thought.Did no one think… it looks like a fucking Circus Tent…
Appropriate…
It’s like a pink and white jellyfish, being lifted up on 3 sides.Genuinely, what are they thinking. It looks like some bloke has lost his man gravy over it.

Probably the completely wrong thread but channel surfing on Saturday morning, caught a few minutes of the Big Match from 1984, Clive Wilson was mint! It was Huddersfield Vs City and they had a pre match or pre season ritual of raising a toast to the Queen from a flagon or tankard. Centre of the picture was ol' pube head himself, suspect him 'n slippy Jim have the same sized egos.Modern day scruffy Peter Swales.
Depends on how much money they will get selling all of the wharfside land to developers. A new stadium and entertainment complex with bars and stuff, will bring in external interest. They simply cannot afford a £2bn stadium development.
The only way this gets built is if someone gives them the money, no strings attached.
This is a nonsense proposal from a nonsense club.
Childish you say? That’s fine by me. They are a bunch of rag bastards and I don’t give a fuck what they pull. It's fine if people don't agree, but rag comments are pretty childish.
To say they aren't an attraction any more is just stupid though. What's the point in pretending? Yes, their on field troubles will be causing them issues, but they still have a fanbase that clearly attracts interest. They get 70+ thousand for every game and they have been rubbish for a few years.
According to Deloitte, revenues in 2023/24 were City (€837m) and Utd (€770m), so despite their much lower performance revenue (PL prize money, CL prize money etc) they must still be pulling in commercial revenue that is comparative to ours.

Reminded me of that 'bring ronaldo home' campaign where they got fans to donate and got a free shirt or summat bollox...........This is definitely going to happen, they actually only need £2 each from their 1 Billion fans.
Even if they they only got 50p each from the poorest half, the richest half still only need to donate £3.50 each.
With those kinda numbers, there's absoloutely no excuse not to build it. I'm sure there were tens of thousands of disappointed United fans who couldn't get a ticket to attend the Ipswich game....this is just meeting that huge demand.
What you are forgetting is that before a spade hits the ground the rags will have to pay a huge wedge to the contractors.Let's assume they borrow £2bn. At, say, 7% that's going to cost them £140m a year in interest alone. They can offset some of that via a naming rights deal but I can't see that bringing in more than £25m a year, and that's the very top of the range.
The rest would presumably come from the increased matchday revenue but they'd need to nearly double that. The increased capacity would take care of about a third of that but they'd need to find something like £2.5-3m extra per game on top. And that's just to cover the debt and stand still. If they continue their collapse on the pitch then things could really get interesting.
Not a lot of difference to be fair;)Better than being a Rag!
If they sell to the Qataris then they wont need any funding in the first place will they ? When he says "we" , is he expecting the Glazers to jump ship when an even bigger cash cow is in the making ?Did anyone else pick up on what Scruffy Jim said about selling up to the Qataris…
It struck me as a veiled warning to the FA and probably the fanbase too.
I did a year at the office just over Blackfriars Bridge in London...back in I think 2009..ish. I had just returned from 12 months in Baku working on some glass stumps for Shephard Robson. I spent most of my time at Big Norms specification writing, visiting the free on site cafe (open 24hours) and generally waking up young Chinese interns who were quite prepared to die at their posts.Correct answer.
"What could this area look like if.... "
Interns doing fantasy projects to let them experience the speed the industry demands.
Fancy visualisations though. Takes me back :) Anyway, nice career mate, Mr Norman turned me down for a model making job years ago. Did you work in the glass dildo? :) :)
