You just know that the commentators are already lubing themselves up, practicing all the superlatives proclaiming that “the real Manchester United have stood up and are back…..” “is this finally the beginning of a new era of success for Manchester United?” etc etc etc until they shoot their load after beating Ipswich or Wolves 1-0 at home courtesy of a Fernandes VAR assisted penalty.

Then Goldbridge, Mad Alice and the Flying Pig et al all proclaim “top 4 here we come” and everything is smelling of roses.

Amorim wankfest in full swing on BBC Sport, I see. I’m surprised they haven’t got an article analysing his turds to see if they can guess what he had for dinner last night and what that might tell us about the formation the rags will be using on Saturday.
