I see no reason why they cannot shut OT for a season or two and play at Wembley. After all it’s nearer their fans. They are then free to build whatever they want. Alternatively, Hough End is empty half the time.
Mrs Vienna tells me that her Dad’s teams from The Old Cock in Stretford used to play on a sloping pitch at Boggert Hole Clough.

It would be ideal for the rags. After all, they have been going downhill for years.

And folk - like me, who worked and paid 40 years NI costs and tax, finally getting my state pension last year, now find I'm not getting the winter fuel allowance. Flecking sucks.

Meanwhile that scruffy bugger and his repugnant football organisation go cap in hand to our newly elected Government for a slice of tax payers money. I hope Starmer/ Reeves tell him to shove his begging bowl where the sun don't shine and whilst he's at it on the festering leaking roof as well......

On the day the government is canning important infrastructure projects to deal with perilous public finances I find it incredulous there is any possibility whatsoever that one of the richest football clubs in the world owned by billionaires might get public money to renovate or rebuild its ground. Absolutely disgusting
It will happen.i predicted this month's ago on here.
Folk forget how close the rags and the BBC are ..BBC are goverment mouth peice ,so..it will happen, prob already a done deal.
Always got to be the biggest and the best ,even when they are shite.
