I’m struggling to remember if we’ve ever had a red rescinded, I certainly can’t remember any.

The thing is though, any so called assistance towards the rags is futile. Be like putting prime Schumacher in a fiat uno. Great help like, but it’s not going to achieve anything.

Absolutely true, but the FA are supposed to enforce the rules fairly for all clubs under their authority, and not show a clear bias towards favoured clubs.

Gary Neville is on the payroll of both Sky and the Club I Won’t Name, and works for both when they play at home. For one paymaster he’s expected to work a Strategic Advantage; for the other he’s supposed to be an impartial observer.
