Don't get me started on Riley. The rags vs arsenal game in 2004 was one of the most baised and corrupt games I've ever seen by a ref. Some absolute shocking decisions went the rags way that day. Riley should of never reffed again after that match never mind being promoted to the head of referees. All the years under that demonic **** there was never a mention about the thousands and thousands of 'controversial' decisions that went their way. Riley, Webb, Clattenburg and the rest cheated all the other clubs out of points in order to ensure the rags got their required win - where the fuck was the outcry then? When did Martin Tyler, Richard Keys etc leap to the defence of the clubs that were routinely on the end of ludicrous decisions from the officials? Decisions that helped one team to an ill-deserved victory and condemned the other to an unwarranted defeat? Possibly costing the manager his job, or even assisting in relegating the club?
The Premier league has a long and shadowy history of highlighting perceived injustices to the red cartel, whilst simultaneously paying lip service to the many many clubs that have been royally shafted by the officials and the media.
They should ask themselves would that decision have been made if that piss-drenched tyrant had still been in charge? Would the decision to award a penalty still have been given if Keane, Scholes, Ratboy etc had been on the pitch?
He once gave the rags 7 penalties in consecutive games at the swamp when he reffed there. Was definitely in the piss cans back pocket
