I had a "Preston" rag come up to and say that we are in trouble now because United have Amorim. I pointed out that we actually still have a manager and that I'm sure there are other managers around. Talk about straw clutching.

You should ask Preston rag how good the Portuguese league is? And success wise their latest saviour has achieved less than Ten Hag did before he rocked up at the swamp. If you look at managers who have been successful in the Premier League if you aren’t recruiting from La Liga, Bundasliga or Seria A. You are doomed to failure.

If I were Amorim, I would have told them to do one
can you hear the conversation
hi love good day at work
yeah but i decided to turn a 7 million a year pay rise and huge pay off down
why did you do that
because we had to live in trafford for 2 years max
great move love

Its time to get creative with a city songbook about the rags new manager on tuesday, particularly if were winning.
Rubens at the wheel for starters
Any more
Ignore them, lets not be obsessed like they are with every other song about us We support our boys don't need to remind them how desperately shite they are

Funny isn’t it, how one of the greatest managers of all time, who has won trophies galore in 2 major leagues rocks up at City and “there’s no guarantee of success”, “his style won’t work in England” etc, but someone with moderate success in 1 relatively minor league is absolutely going to be an immediate hit and will get the best of the other. Cognitive dissonance at its finest

Next time you see the Preston Rag ask him how his new manager went on last time City played his team at the Estádio José Alvalade, Lisbon If he isn't aware then you might like to tell him he lost 5:0 He did manage a draw at the Etihad in a dead rubber game
